From the cities I’ve visited, New York is up there when it comes to the highest number of photos, recordings and videos taken. Landmarks, street life, events, signage, food are all in there. This time, during a visit in June 2025 I took a slightly different approach and made some short audio visual studies exploring field recording and phone footage both taken while moving through the city and without monitoring the results. Editing, overlays and sound composition turn the original materials into these short audio visual works.
